NIS America has announced that Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA will have exclusive content on Nintendo Switch.
While the game’s content is based on the PlayStation 4 version, it will contain the Deserted Pirate costumes, the Tropic Swimwear costumes, Laxia’s Eternian Scholar costume, and six other cosmetic downloadable content, with more details to be shared in the coming months.
These costumes are for the game’s main characters Adol Christin and Dana, as well as party characters Laxia, Sahad, and Ricotta.
When his ship sinks, the sea carries adventurer Adol to a deserted island that is inhabited by vicious creatures that have evolved in many different ways. In order to survive, he must gather the survivors and build a base which will continue to grow as his adventure progresses.
Adol and the mysterious Dana, who appears in his dreams, are two souls separated by time and space but, together, will change the course of history.
With marauding monsters to fend off, high-speed battles will require you to alternate between characters to use slash, strike and pierce attack types to take advantage of your enemy’s weakness – to then unleash your special moves when the moment is right.
Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA will release on Nintendo Switch worldwide in summer 2018.
