YouTube arrives on Wii

As the world awaits the launch of the Wii U, the Wii has at last received a YouTube application available to those across North America.

You can download the application from the Wii Shop Channel, with which you can then sign in using your YouTube account to find channels that you are subscribed to.

Alongside this, you can also browse categories that include Gaming, Music or Sports.

Of course, for those purchasing the Wii U at launch, the application will work through use of the console’s ‘Wii Mode.’

The YouTube application for Wii will be distributed to more countries “in the coming months.”
