Media Create have shared their latest sales figures, revealing that Youkai Watch 2 has been knocked off its perch after seven consecutive weeks in the top spot.
LEVEL-5’s smash hit fell to third place, shifting 68,762 copies for the week which covers 25th August – 31st August 2014. It was Persona 4 Arena Ultimax that took its place, having achieved sales of 89,498 copies on PlayStation 3.
Nintendo continued to lead the way in the hardware spectrum, with 3DS LL, Wii U and 3DS sales hitting 30,111, 8,584, and 7,404 units respectively. These sales came before the New Nintendo 3DS and New Nintendo 3DS LL announcement, and so it is expected that the numbers will begin to dwindle until the upgraded hardware launches in October.
