NIS America has shared a first look at Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana running on Nintendo Switch, having shared just over 16 minutes worth of gameplay footage for you to check out.
The publisher adds that this is still a development build of the game, and has also shared some alternate Nintendo Switch cover sheets that you can download and print out.
When his ship sinks, the sea carries adventurer Adol to a deserted island that is inhabited by vicious creatures that have evolved in many different ways. In order to survive, he must gather the survivors and build a base which will continue to grow as his adventure progresses.
Adol and the mysterious Dana, who appears in his dreams, are two souls separated by time and space but, together, will change the course of history.
Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA will release in North America on June 26th, and across Europe on June 29th.
