The Pokémon Company has released a prequel story that has been written to celebrate Detective Pikachu’s worldwide release today.
Detective Pikachu: Episode 0—Eevee’s Case is an illustrated story that takes place before Detective Pikachu teams up with Tim, and is now available as a free download on Apple iBooks Store and Amazon’s Kindle Store for a limited time.
It sets the scene for the Nintendo 3DS exclusive, and, one day, sees Eevee come to the great Detective Pikachu with the hope that he can help find the culprit who messed up the yard at its home.
Detective Pikachu is now available exclusively for Nintendo 3DS worldwide.
