Obscured by the obliterating marketing campaigns heralding the arrival of Titanfall and Dark Souls II, Yoshi’s New Island entered the UK all-formats chart this week in 12th place.
We fairly enjoyed the dino-like creatures cheery return, of which you can read more about in our review, that sees Baby Mario enlist the aid of the Yoshi clan to recover his brother, who has been captured by Magikoopa Kamek.
It was Titanfall that secured the top spot, with the brutal Dark Souls II closely following in second. The top five being rounded off by South Park: The Stick of Truth, The LEGO Movie Videogame, and Thief.
Yoshi’s New Island is now available across Europe and North America.
