It won’t come as a surprise given the game’s absence at E3 2018, but Nintendo has confirmed that Yoshi’s next adventure on Nintendo Switch has been delayed into 2019.

The side-scrolling action platformer, which is being created with Unreal Engine 4, sees the adorable Nintendo character explore a world that has been decorated like a miniature diorama.

Each level has a traditional front side as well as a flip side, that reveals different views and hidden surprises.

Yoshi for Nintendo Switch will release worldwide in 2019.
