Playtonic Games have already shared how humbled they have been by the “wonderful support” their Kickstarter campaign for Yooka-Laylee has received.
Now sat at £1.42 million, it has far surpassed the £175k goal that the developer had set out to achieve in a matter of days. That success has seen Kickstarter confirm that Yooka-Laylee has received $1 million (£656k) faster than any other game campaign, and is on course to be the most successful ever submitted in the United Kingdom.
With 40 days to go, it will hopefully continue to gain even more traction and achieve the next stretch goal that has been outlined – which looks to secure the budget for an orchestral score. Good luck, Playtonic!
