Yooka-Laylee Trailer Spreads Flatulence And Joy

Playtonic Games has released a new Yooka-Laylee trailer in time for Gamescom 2016, revealing snow ploughs, underwater flatulence, and more google-eyed monsters that everyone loves.

Their Banjo-Kazooie spiritual successor is playable at the European trade fair, where press have been able to explore the game’s first world, Tribalstack Tropics.

Playtonic has thanked those that have played the Kickstarter backer-exclusive Toybox, and to everyone that has shared their “valuable viewpoints.”

“The team has been closely following your comments, videos and streams and you can rest assured we’ll be looking to improve the final game based on your responses,” the team share. “Though we’re still not putting pants on the lizard.”

Development has now entered “the polish stage,” with more content reveals promised in the coming months.

Yooka-Laylee will release on the Nintendo eShop for Wii U in Q1 2017.
