Team17 and Playtonic Games have teased that Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair will release this October.
In the upcoming adventure-platformer game, Yooka and Laylee must work together to help Queen Phoebee restore order to the Royal Stingdom – rescuing her Royal Beettalion Guard from the clutches of Capital B.
As you explore the overworld, the companions will uncover new secrets and puzzles that can “dynamically transform” each of the game’s levels.
That means that you can expect there to be 40 levels in the game, with the transformations resulting from you hooking up electricity, flooding chapters with running water, or literally flipping them upside down.
Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair will release at retail and on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide in October.
