The Yo-kai Watch brand continues to be a surefire hit for LEVEL-5 in Japan, with Nintendo 3DS exclusive Yo-kai Watch Busters remaining in the lead in Media Create’s weekly sales chart.
Capcom’s Sengoku Basara 4: Sumeragi was the highest-charting new release, with 94,050 copies sold across PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3, with Wii U exclusive Splatoon continuing to see strong weekly sales to remain high in the chart.
As for hardware, the Nintendo 3DS family of systems accounted for 28,874 unit sales, with the New Nintendo 3DS LL proving the most popular choice with an increase in sales over last week. Whereas the Wii U unit sales remained consistent at 11,257 for the week, a small increase of 229 sales.
