With many having now seen Nate’s adventure in Yo-kai Watch 2: Bony Spirits and Yo-kai Watch 2: Fleshy Souls through to conclusion, this week’s Nintendo Direct shared news on when players can return to Springdale.
Even if you haven’t played the second outing in LEVEL-5’s Japanese phenomenon, Yo-kai Watch 2: Psychic Specters has been positioned as the definitive version of the sequel. It delivers the same experience but adds new Yo-kai to befriend, exclusive quests and the chance to visit a new resort area by travelling on the Hexpress.
Players can befriend Wicked and Boss Yo-kai encountered in previous games, learn about the origin of the mysterious feline Yo-kai Darknyan and take on powerful new bosses with others in the co-operative Blasters mode – which has been revamped since the last games.
Yo-kai Watch 2: Psychic Specters will release exclusively for Nintendo 3DS in North America this fall.
