It hasn’t been that long since Yo-kai Watch arrived in Europe, and, to coincide with Gamescom 2016, Nintendo of Europe has announced when the sequel will release in the region.
That sees Nintendo 3DS exclusives Yo-kai Watch 2: Bony Spirits and Yo-kai Watch 2: Fleshy Souls scheduled to come to Europe in spring 2017, the sequel promising to tell the origin story behind the mysterious Yo-kai Watch.
Players will be able to explore new areas outside of Springdale, encounter more than 100 new Yo-kai, battle with improved strategy elements, take part in a new multiplayer mode, and even travel back in time.
Yo-kai Watch 2: Bony Spirits and Yo-kai Watch 2: Fleshy Souls will release in North America on September 30th, Australia and New Zealand on October 15th, and in Europe in spring 2017.
