LEVEL-5’s Yo-kai Watch may be preparing to storm the United States in November, but those looking forward to exploring the cultural phenomenon can already start learning about what lies in store.
The Japanese developer and publisher has released the Yo-kai Land app for iOS and Android devices, inviting players to join Yo-kai butler Whisper as he guides you through the quirky world of Yo-kai Watch.
Packed with an exhaustive Wiki that details every Yo-kai character, those that buy Hasbro’s incoming toy medals can scan them with the app to bring the characters to life, unlock hidden prizes and bonus features. Updates and games are promised to be added on a regular basis, as an accompanying experience to the Nintendo 3DS exclusive.
Yo-kai Watch will release exclusively for Nintendo 3DS on November 6th in North America, December 5th in Australia and New Zealand, with Europe to follow in 2016.
