Square Enix have announced a new initiative that will see them distribute their English language manga across 200 countries, made possible through a partnership with Yen Press in conjunction with the Tuttle-Mori Agency.

This will begin on April 8th, and will see English language eBook editions of 175 titles become available through digital retailers such as Amazon, Apple, Barnes & Noble, Google and Kobo. New volumes will arrive concurrently with future print releases, with international best sellers Atsushi Ohkubo’s Soul Eater, Yana Toboso’s Black Butler, and Yoshiki Tonogai’s Doubt among the early offering.

This will be followed by additional series weekly through April, bringing Hiromu Arakawa’s Fullmetal Alchemist, Jun Mochizuki’s PandoraHearts, Ryukishi07’s Higurashi WHEN THEY CRY, and Until Death Do Us Part by Hiroshi Takashige and DOUBLE-S into the mix. These will include colour pages that weren’t in the print counterparts.

Alongside which, a digital English language serialisation of new chapters in Atsushi Ohkubo’s Soul Eater NOT! and Yoshiki Tonogai’s Secret will be released as digital comics in advance their publication.

So, keep an eye out if you’re interested!
