Yakuza Kiwami 2 Out On Nintendo Switch 2 This November

SEGA has announced that Yakuza Kiwami and Yakuza Kiwami 2 will be released for Nintendo Switch 2 in the coming months.

Yakuza Kiwami has been previously released for Nintendo Switch, but comes to the portable home console successor with “enhanced graphics, improved frame rates, and more.” Those who already own the Nintendo Switch version can purchase the Nintendo Switch 2 upgrade at a discounted price.

Yakuza Kiwami Overview: Take the fall for a murder and emerge from prison 10 years later to yakuza clans on the brink of a war that hurtles you on an intense journey of love, humanity, and betrayal, fueled by your fists and unyielding resolve, set against a bustling red-light district in modern-day Japan. Dynamically switch between 4 fighting styles (brutal “Brawler”, speedy “Rush”, overpowering “Beast”, legendary “Dragon”), while utilising makeshift weapons scattered around the streets to take down hordes of enemies in realistic fights that are exhilarating and fun for anyone to pick up and play.

Yakuza Kiwami 2 Overview: Kazuma Kiryu thought his Tojo Clan days were behind him. He and the young girl in his care, Haruka Sawamura, have built a peaceful life from the ashes of conflict. All it took was a single gunshot to shatter that peace. Yukio Terada, the Fifth Chairman of the Tojo Clan, has been assassinated. With war on the horizon, the legendary Dragon of Dojima is pulled back into the world he wanted to leave behind. Kiryu must travel to Sotenbori, Osaka in an attempt to broker peace between the rival clans, but Ryuji Goda, known as the Dragon of Kansai, will stop at nothing to get his war. In this world, there can only be one dragon.

Yakuza Kiwami and Yakuza Kiwami 2 will be released digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch 2 worldwide on 13 November 2025.
