Xtransciever detailed for Pokémon Black and White, provides Video Chat capabilities

Nintendo have lifted the lid on a further addition to the upcoming release of Pokémon Black and White, the fifth generation of titles within the celebrated franchise.

Players with either the Nintendo DSi or Nintendo DSi XL systems will be able to utilise a new piece of in-game equipment dubbed the Xtransceiver, which will allow them to talk with up to three friends via video chat. Doing so will also allow them to use on-screen markers and stamps to draw on each others pictures.

The Xtransceiver is available to be accessed within the Wi-Fi Club in the Pokémon Center, and here two players may use the device to connect over Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection.

The watch-like device will also be utilised by in-game characters who will contact you throughout your Poké adventure!
