Nintendo look set to fulfil their promise that Xenoblade Chronicles X will receive a western release this year, with the Wii U exclusive arriving in December.

Monolith Soft’s intergalactic space opera will see players explore an unknown planet as a war rages on between aliens and human survivors.

Weaponised mechs called Skells will ease your exploration of the planet’s expanse, with players left to customise combat and defensive skills referred to as Arts to help them strategise and defeat the creatures and enemies that they encounter.

Xenoblade Chronicles X will release exclusively for Wii U in North America on December 4th, and in Europe this December.
