Nintendo has confirmed that the downloadable content released to support Xenoblade Chronicles X beyond launch in Japan, will be made available in North America and Europe at no additional cost.

Monolith Soft had developed more characters, quests and buffs for their Wii U exclusive, which Game Informer reports will see at least the four characters released free of charge. In Japan, they had been priced at 500 yen (£2.75) each.

That includes Axana, Boze, HB and Yelve, who each have two unique Special Arts and blueprints, and can join the player’s party after successfully seeing their three respective quests through to completion.

Xenoblade Chronicles X will release exclusively for Wii U in North America and Europe on December 4th.
