Xenoblade Chronicles 3D receives Version 1.1 update

Nintendo have rolled out an update to Monolith Soft’s Xenoblade Chronicles 3D, after the New Nintendo 3DS exclusive launched in Europe last week.

This brings Monster Games’ port of the expansive open-world RPG to Version 1.1, the small 35 block-update targeting bug fixes “in order to provide a smoother gaming experience.”

It’s a nondescript explanation that we’ve perhaps now come to expect, although I don’t think that anyone could argue against any improvements.

Within our review, we wrote: “Xenoblade Chronicles 3D delivers a welcome chance to experience a game, whether for the first time or as a repeated journey, that undeniably helped to redefine the Japanese RPG genre. Whether to explore the world, experience its gripping storyline, revel in battle or all of the above, it’s a reminder of a game that will forever stand the test of time.”
