Xenoblade Chronicles 3: White Fog On Erythia Sea

After reaching the Cadensia Region in Xenoblade Chronicles 3, you will be able to board the Boundary and pilot it across the Erythia Sea. Whether inadvertently or from a natural curiosity about your surroundings, it won’t take long before you stumble upon the White Fog On Erythia Sea topic.

If you haven’t found it yet, look for, as the name suggests, an area that’s fairly central in the watery expanse that is encased in white fog. Enter this, and that is all that you need to do to get started.

This is another two-part topic, meaning that you will need to overhear both parts before you can unlock the option for your party to discuss the information that they have gathered at a Rest Spot. It’s not the most exciting content that Xenoblade Chronicles 3 has to throw at you, but it’s an hours-long head-scratcher if you don’t know where to find the second part.

What’s misleading is that you would expect to find the second part somewhere in the Erythia Sea, and, well… it’s not there. Instead, you will want to go to the City Interior and fast travel to either the Serene Square or Astelle Harbor landmark.

From here, run eastward through the market stalls and up the stairs that you will see in front of you. Keep running north at the top and rather than take a right turn, head through a small corridor to carry on progressing north. It is in this immediate area after exiting the corridor that you will be able to overhear the second part of the topic, which should unlock a discussion for your party to have when you next rest at a campfire.

    1. I had the same problem, but it fixed itself.
It was either a restart of the game or you have to reach a point in the story where you have to collect material to upgrade the boat.
Hope that helps and it wasnt just luck
