Nintendo has confirmed that Xenoblade Chronicles 3: Future Redeemed will release next week, the final downloadable content to be released through the game’s Expansion Pass.

Previously promised to be made available before 31st December 2023, it is now releasing much earlier than many had expected – Tuesday 25th April in North America, which will be early on Wednesday 26th April for those in Europe.

Set before the events in Xenoblade Chronicles 3, you will have the chance to “join a cast of new and familiar characters in an original story scenario that connects all three instalments in the Xenoblade Chronicles series.” You can expect new battle mechanics such as Unity Combo, where two characters can attack in unison.

  • New Challenge Battle: “Archsage’s Gauntlet” – select only one character and battle wave after wave of enemies to earn rewards.
  • Craft Accessories: After adding Masha to your party, you can craft new accessories using crystals collected in “Archsage’s Gauntlet”.
  • New throwback outfits

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is now available at retail and digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide.
