Nintendo has released a new software update for Xenoblade Chronicles 2 (and Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Torna ~ The Golden Country), that sees Monolith Soft’s expansive RPG now on version 2.0.2 (or version 1.0.2).
This has seen the developer add the Massive Melee Mythra Aux Core, a new item that, once equipped, will let Mythra wear her new outfit seen in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate’s Spirits Mode.
You must first obtain the Massive Melee Mythra Aux Core, however. After reaching Chapter 4 in Xenoblade Chronicles 2, return to Goldmouth at the Argentum Trade Guild and head to the Salvage Deck – warp to the Central Exchange as the nearest landmark and head east.
Look for Brobro to your right, who will explain that he has salvaged a “special-looking Aux Core” but, as he isn’t
a Driver, he has no reason to hold on to it. He’ll freely hand it over to you, so that you can give it a test run.
For those that are playing Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Torna ~ The Golden Country, travel to the Feltley Village landmark in the Kingdom of Torna’s Lasaria Region.
From there, head north to the Feltley Village Camp where you will find the Nameless Wanderpon. Lonely from travelling on his own, he is grateful that you stopped to talk to him and will hand you the Massive Melee Mythra Aux Core as a reward. He found the “fancy paperweight for non-Driver” in a nearby lake, so he’s happy to give it away.
Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is now available exclusively for Nintendo Switch worldwide.
