Now that Nintendo Switch has been revealed to the world, the preview trailer has since been seen by more than 18 million viewers worldwide.
One such viewer was Head of Xbox Phil Spencer, who, while hard at work on his team’s own Project Scorpio, shared praise for Nintendo’s “bold vision” and how they can realise it with their products.
“I’m always impressed with their ability to state a bold vision and build a product that delivers on that vision,” Spencer shared. “Innovation, for all of us, is the best long-term differentiator. It’s not ads/promotions, true innovation is critical.”
Head of Xbox games marketing Aaron Greenberg added: “Congrats to my friends at Nintendo of America on the unveil today. Love seeing new innovation in our industry, Switch looks like fun!”
Nintendo Switch will release worldwide in March 2017.
