Exor Studios has announced that X-Morph Defense will release on Nintendo Switch, a game that fuses a top-down shooter with tower defense strategy.
You are the X-Morph, an alien species that has invaded Earth to harvest resources and terraform the surface. Your immediate goal is to defend the X-Morph harvesters from incoming waves of human forces, building mazes, collapsing bridges, and constructing towers to slow and obliterate your enemies with alien weaponry.
And then there’s the chance to play as an X-Morph fighter, directly engaging enemy units with the chance to morph into four forms – Plasma Fighter, Dark Matter Bomber, Shredder, and Laser Destroyer – that are each geared at dealing with different threats.
With a 20-hour campaign that’s supported with three downloadable content packs and a separate 10-level Survival Mode campaign, you can look forward to epic duels against challenging bosses.
X-Morph Defense will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on February 21st, priced at $19.99.
