Benjamin Rivers has announced that Worse Than Death will release on Nintendo Switch in the coming months.
This horrifying thriller sees Holly return to her rural hometown to face her high school reunion. However, when unspeakable events throw the party into chaos, she must run for her life, solve brain-teasing puzzles, and escape from unseen enemies that are tracking her down — all in an effort to save her best friend, Flynn.
The developer has drawn the game’s high-res art using an iPad Pro and Apple Pencil, using the professional art app, Procreate.
“We were able to leverage decades of art experience in a fast, natural way, whether we were in the office or on the other side of the world,” Rivers explains. “Even as a mom-and-pop shop, we can use innovations like this to compete.”
Worse Than Death will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide this summer.
