Lightwood Games has announced that Worcle Worlds will release on Nintendo 3DS this week.
Worcle is short for “words in a circle,” which is exactly what this puzzler is all about. The player must shoot balls into the circle to make words – creating them with three or more letters to clear the circles, but being wary to keep an eye on the swirling vortex.
If you let the circle fill up you will get sucked in and it’s game over, but, clearing the circle completely will reward you with bonus points and creating cascades of words will reward you with multipliers for higher scores – helpful for competing in the online leaderboards.
There are 10 unique game worlds that each have their own rules and letter mixes, while players can take on a friend in the brand new Battle Mode in either Local Play or Online Play.
Worcle Worlds will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS on October 26th, priced at $9.99.
