Humble Games and Dead Mage have confirmed a release date for Wizard of Legend 2 on Nintendo Switch.
You will be challenged to take on The Trials once more, with the chance to master 77 Arcana (including 12 Chaos Arcana) to build custom spell loadouts and experiment with hundreds of possible combos. With every run, you must adapt to new enemy lineups, elemental interactions, and dynamic boss encounters, all designed to test both your reflexes and strategy.
Whether choosing to compete solo, teaming up for local co-op in Tabletop mode, or joining forces online with up to four players, the Nintendo Switch version promises to deliver “the same responsive, combo-driven action that defines the series – now fully portable.”
Having been released on Steam, PlayStation and Xbox earlier this year, the game comes to Nintendo Switch with all the content from that edition, refined controls for Joy-Con and Pro Controllers, and “optimised performance across both handheld and docked play.”
The publisher has outlined the game’s key features, which include:
- 4-player Co-op: Play solo or with up to three friends in seamless online or local multiplayer. The Switch release incorporates refinements introduced during 1.0, including faster Arcana responsiveness, improved camera tracking, adjusted boss HP scaling, and streamlined item interactions for smoother co-op runs.
- Diverse Biomes and Bosses: Each region presents new elemental hazards, enemy archetypes, minibosses, and area bosses. From the heights of the Sky Citadel to the depths of the Chaos biome, every area features distinct mechanics and rewards for players to uncover.
- Elemental Arcana System: Experiment with 77 Arcana spanning Fire, Water, Earth, Air, and Chaos elements. Mix and match to discover synergies, from chain lightning combos to earth-based crowd control, and adapt your spell kit to each Trial’s demands.
- Expansive Language Support: Support in 13 languages, including English, Brazilian Portuguese, Chinese (Simplified), French, German, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Russian, Spanish, Persian, and Turkish.
Wizard of Legend 2 will be released digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on 25 November 2025.
