Maximum Entertainment and Rainbow have announced that Winx Club: The Magic Is Back will be released for Nintendo Switch in the coming months.
This is the first Winx Club video game in over a decade, and will be released to coincide with the upcoming animated series.
Whether playing solo or in local co-op with another player, you can explore iconic locations from the Winx universe, from the halls of Alfea College to the Enchanted Forest or the dramatic Coastal Cliffs to the mysterious Desert Ruins of Red Fountain.
Free to swap between all six fairies who each have their own distinctive magical abilities, the game mixes exploration, action and teamwork as you look to overcome enemies and puzzles in creative ways.
“With Winx Club: The Magic Is Back, we’re celebrating the global love for the Winx universe and inviting fans, both longtime followers and newcomers, into a modern, magical gameplay experience that captures everything they cherish about Winx,” explains Maximum Entertainment CEO Philippe Cohen.
Rainbow chief content officer Joanne Lee adds: “For so many people, the Winx universe holds a special place in their hearts, and this game brings that magic to life in a fresh and exciting way. We’re thrilled to join forces with Maximum Entertainment to share this new adventure with longtime fans and a new generation of players.”
Winx Club: The Magic Is Back will be released at retail and digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide in April 2026.
