Hiding Spot Games has revealed that their “cute and creepy adventure game” Beacon Pines is in development for Nintendo Switch.

Pitched as “Winnie the Pooh meets Twin Peaks,” the game is set within a magical storybook where you play as both the book’s reader and its main character, Luka.

The story is incomplete with words missing at important moments, meaning that you will need to explore the town to discover word charms that you can use to change the course of fate.

After filling in a missing word, you will be pulled back into the book to witness the events unfold based on the choice that you made.

Beacon Pines will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide in 2021.
