Will Ferell’s SuperMegaBlastMax Gamer Challenge to raise money for charity

Hollywood A-lister Will Ferell has declared that he hates cancer, as do we all, and in looking to do something about it has announced his SuperMegaBlastMax Gamer Challenge.

He’s looking to generate $375,000 through the campaign, with those that donate in with the chance to meet him in San Francisco on Sunday 26th October. A lucky winner will spend the day touring Twitch’s offices, meeting other special guests and playing games live on the streaming service with the Anchorman star.

“I know the popular perception of gamers is that we are all extremely motivated, highly philanthropic, and impossible good looking,” Ferell says in the campaign’s accompanying video. “Let’s not alter people’s perception of us.”

The campaign is being run through IndieGoGo, with money being raised for Donate Games and Cancer for College.
