Ever the one to share percentages rather than actual numbers, Nintendo of America have shared that Wii U hardware sales spiked by 200 percent across North America throughout September in comparison to those achieved in August.

That’s according to NPD Group data, and is largely attributed by Nintendo to the Wii U Deluxe Set’s $50 price reduction, and the arrival of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD Wii U bundle.

The company were also quick to point out that this only accounts to 15 days of data at the new price, and with heavy hitters arriving such as Sonic Lost World and Super Mario 3D World they will be hopeful that such success continues.
