Wii Remote Rapid Charging Set prepares to zap Europe

Having been previously released in Japan, Nintendo seemingly look set to deliver the dramatically named Wii Remote Rapid Charging Set across Europe.

With listings surfacing on French retailer Micromania pointing toward a September 27th release, we can be sure that Nintendo will make an official announcement shortly.

The set comes supplied with a Wii Remote charging cradle, rechargeable battery, jacket, wrist strap, and AC Adapter, allowing you to charge a single controller – with 90 minutes spent absorbing electricity supposedly seeing you rewarded with a play session that could last beyond 13 hours.

Why this wasn’t released during the Wii’s reign is puzzling, although I’m sure there are still plenty who will snap it up!
