The arrival of the Wii Mini across the United Kingdom has been met with minimal interest from consumers, according to a TechRadar report.
“We’ve pretty much had nothing. None at all,” said staff at one of specialist retailer GAME’s flagship stores, explaining that demand was poor despite having put the console up for pre-order on their website.
Whilst HMV are currently facing economic turmoil they have decided against even stocking the console, but may do so in future if interest picks up.
Whilst available at an attractive £79.99 price tag, the Wii redesign strips out Internet functionality, GameCube compatibility and 480p support.
