GS2 Games has confirmed that the comic arcade shooter Chicken Range will receive a retail release on Nintendo Switch.

Those looking for some “frantic feathery fun” can choose between a standalone copy of the game or a bundle that also throws in a Joy-Con Rifle peripheral.

In Chicken Range, you are challenged to shoot chickens using weapons such as pistols, AK47s, RPGs and alien ray guns. The chickens will hurl eggs that will block your field of view, and, once the screen is covered in an eggy yolk, you will be met with the Game Over screen.

There are 15 levels in the game, weapons to unlock as you progress and increasingly trickier chickens to take out like tank chickens, ninja chickens and helicopter chickens.

Chicken Range is now available on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide and will release at retail in North America in Holiday 2020.
