Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu has confirmed that Nintendo have implemented the White Tanooki Suit into the forthcoming New Super Mario Bros. 2.
This may be familiar to those that played Super Mario 3D Land, which appeared within an Assist Block if you died five consecutive times at the same point in the level, and provided invincibility for its remainder.
Famitsu confirms that it will work in exactly the same way within New Super Mario Bros. 2, which releases across Japan on July 28th, Europe on August 17th, and North America on August 19th.
