Nintendo has released The Master Trials, the first downloadable content to become available with The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Expansion Pass.

That introduces the Trial of the Sword, Hero’s Path Mode and Master Mode, but also throws in multiple items that will help you search around Hyrule in Link’s open-air adventure. The next that we will help you discover, is Tingle’s Outfit.

What Is Tingle’s Outfit?

At long last we can live out our dream, or nightmare, of seeing Link dressed as Tingle. The fairy-loving character first appeared in The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask on Nintendo 64, and, when all three pieces of Tingle’s Outfit are worn together in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Link is granted the Night Speed-Up effect.

Clue To Find Tingle’s Outfit

The EX Treasure: Fairy Clothes side quest will guide you to Misko’s EX Journal in the Outpost Ruins, in which the great bandit has detailed where he has hidden the clothing and armor that he has stolen. The clue related to Tingle’s Outfit reads:

“The green garments of the man who wished to be a fairy are hidden in the ruins of Hyrule Field. Find these pieces at the ruins where trade flourished… at the ruins where sinners were imprisoned… and at the village ruins next to farmland where many people once gathered.”

Where To Find The Tingle’s Hood Treasure Chest

“Find these pieces at the ruins where trade flourished…”

The first clue will lead you to Tingle’s Hood, and, as a riddle in some way, refers to the Exchange Ruins. These are located directly south from Central Tower in Hyrule Field, with the treasure chest being buried in some rubble below the location text on the main map – you will need to use Magnesis to pull it from the ground.

Where To Find The Tingle’s Shirt Treasure Chest

“… at the ruins where sinners were imprisoned…”

This next clue refers to the Castle Town Ruins, which are located on an island west from Hyrule Castle. The closest warp point is Noya Neha Shrine, for those that have discovered it.

The area is guarded by a Guardian Skywatcher and a Guardian, so be careful unless you want to fend them off. If you climb up high and use Magnesis you will soon spot the treasure chest that contains Tingle’s Shirt, and you will need to free it from the ground to retrieve the item.

Where To Find The Tingle’s Tights Treasure Chest

“… and at the village ruins next to farmland where many people once gathered.”

The last clue will lead you to complete Tingle’s Outfit. The treasure chest that contains Tingle’s Tights is located in Mabe Village Ruins, and it will be quicker to reach it by warping to Wahgo Katta Shrine southeast on Hyrule Field, retrieving your horse at Riverside Stable and galloping up to it.

The treasure chest is hidden beneath a destroyed Guardian that is sat in a large puddle of water. Once you spot the chest, using Magnesis on it will let you tug it out from underneath the Guardian – letting you secure the last piece of clothing to complete Tingle’s Outfit.
