These are now available to pre-order online, and are both expected to ship around the world in Q3 2020.
The WHAT THE GOLF? Limited Edition ($34.99) is limited to 2,500 copies and comes with a region-free physical copy of the game, an exclusive cover sheet with interior art and a sticker sheet pack-in bonus.
Whereas the WHAT THE GOLF? Vinyl Soundtrack ($29.99) is your chance to own composer Sune Køter Kølster’s “cartoonishly hummable” soundtrack on a Golden Corndog-coloured vinyl disc housed in a Premium Gatefold Jacket, coming with a bonus Screen-Printed Fairway Felt Slipmat and a full digital download.
Created by a team that knows nothing about golf, WHAT THE GOLF? has been positioned as a wacky game for those that hate the sport and where every course presents you with a new surprise.
Each course will throw a new type of golf at you, whether they be brilliant, hilarious, or absurd – seeing you golf a house, a horse or car.
The portable home console version has a new local two-player Party mode, in which friends can compete at the same time to be the first to make it to the flag. There is also touch screen and gyroscope support in select levels as well as other “surprise.”
WHAT THE GOLF? is now available on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide.
