Walkabout Games and Different Tales have confirmed that Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Heart of the Forest will release on Nintendo Switch this week.

This adventure game has taken inspiration from the legendary tabletop RPG Werewolf: The Apocalypse.

With the developer adapting mechanics from the World of Darkness universe to emulate a classic role-playing session, the experience has been tailored to newcomers and veterans alike.

You will play as Maia, who searches in ancient Białowieża Forest to discover more about her family history. With the chance to explore the myths and monsters of Europe’s last primeval wilderness, you will stumble upon real-world places of mystery and power and witness how nature clashes with technology and greed.

Distinctive collage art has been combined with hand-illustrated characters and pictures of real places in an effort “to inspire your imagination,” as you face tough choices that you must make that will often result in dramatic consequences.

Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Heart of the Forest will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on 7th January 2021.
