Media Create have released information regarding last week’s hardware sales in Japan, which saw Sony’s PS Vita maintain its post-price cut sales spike.
It achieved sales of 63,581 units to take the top placing, whilst relegating the previously dominant Nintendo 3DS to second despite having achieved a similarly admirable 61,008 unit sales.
Meanwhile, Wii U sales continued to dwindle with only 9,454 units were snapped up, clearly showing that Nintendo need to up their game to regain consumer interest.
