The Pokémon Company International and Game Freak have revealed more about the Wild Area in Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield.
While exploring this vast expanse of land in the Galar region, you will encounter powerful wild Pokémon who are constantly on guard.
The types of Pokémon that will appear – as well as battlefield conditions – can be affected by the weather.
As an example, if you enter a battle during a thunderstorm the power of your Pokémon’s Water and/or Electric-type moves will be increased.
Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield will release exclusively for Nintendo Switch worldwide on November 15th.
