Nintendo has confirmed that Nintendo 64 classic Wave Race 64 will be made available to Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscribers this week.
The Nintendo EAD-developed water-based racing game will be released through the Nintendo 64: Nintendo Switch Online app on Friday 19th August 2022.
The Nintendo 64 – Nintendo Switch Online collection launched in late October 2021 with nine games: Super Mario 64, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Mario Kart 64, Lylat Wars, Sin and Punishment, Dr. Mario 64, Mario Tennis 64, Operation: WinBack and Yoshi’s Story. It has since added Paper Mario, Banjo-Kazooie, The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask, Mario Golf, Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards, Pokémon Snap and Pokémon Puzzle League.
Nintendo most recently revealed that Nintendo Switch Online now has more than 32 million subscribers.
The pricing plans for Nintendo Switch Online are £3.49 ($3.99) per month, £6.99 ($7.99) for three months or £17.99 ($19.99) for 12 months. There is a 12-month Family Membership for £31.49 ($34.99) that allows a Nintendo Account holder to “invite up to seven others to join a family group” that will all have access to Nintendo Switch Online.
Whereas an individual membership to Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack is priced at £34.99 ($49.99) for 12 months, with a Family Membership priced at £59.99 ($79.99).
