Nintendo and the BFI have shared the winning entry for the A Vision in 3D competition, geared toward finding and nurturing new British film talent.
Nicholas Pratt proved victorious, and has received mentoring from AV innovator Stuart Warren-Hill and director Asif Kapadia since his successful submission was chosen.
At a Nintendo Gala in London, his short film, created in collaboration with Warren-Hill and a professional crew, was screened, with assistance from director of photography Malcolm Hadley who has worked on Tim Burton’s Corpse Bride and upcoming 3D opus Frankenweenie.
The three runners-up in the competition were Tom Rule, Jamie Mitchell and Charlie Doran.
