Many of you will have already taken The Legend of Zelda x Mario Kart 8 DLC Pack 1 for a spin, and will have already taken delight in the rather sensational soundtrack that accompanies it.

This marks the return of the Nintendo Big Band, who record live tracks to accompany Hyrule Circuit, Dragon Driftway and Mute City. Whether that be rocking out to the remixed Zelda theme, the sweeping melodic saxophone lines, or the thundering drum beats, it’s as absolutely glorious as the main game’s accompaniment.

The Legend of Zelda x Mario Kart DLC Pack 1 is now available priced at £7.00 ($7.99), with the Animal Crossing New Leaf x Mario Kart 8 DLC Pack 2 arriving in May 2015. Both can be purchased as a discounted bundle for £11.00 ($11.99), with those that buy each pack receiving eight-coloured Yoshi and Shy Guy characters as a bonus.
