Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aimé stopped by Late Night with Jimmy Fallon to promote Super Mario Run, but, unexpectedly, the company also decided to demonstrate Nintendo Switch publicly for the first time.
Cheered on by Shigeru Miyamoto, the excitable host managed to clear a World Tour course in the new Mario game with guidance from Fils-Aimé, who directed him toward a hidden Super Star.
But then, as a special surprise for Fallon, Fils-Aimé revealed that he had Nintendo Switch with him. For the first time, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild was shown playing on the platform, with Nintendo looking to highlight how players can continue on the move when the Nintendo Switch Console is removed from the Dock.
Nintendo Switch will release worldwide in March 2017, and we will learn about the home gaming system in the Nintendo Switch Presentation 2017.
