Koei Tecmo has announced that Warriors Orochi 4 will release on Nintendo Switch, the next game in their one-versus-thousands action series.
The game is set in a world on the brink of chaos, where heroes from the Warring States period of Japan and the Three Kingdoms era of China have successfully defeated the evil Orochi to end his reign.
Their two worlds, merged by an unknown entity, are once again threatened and the heroes must find the key to restore them and return to their respective homes. As they begin to uncover the mystery surrounding their arrival in these new fused lands, their discoveries lead them to one deity: Zeus, the supreme god among gods.
You will be able to experience the game’s story through the eyes of 170 playable characters – with 165 returning from the Dynasty Warriors, Samurai Warriors and Warriors Orochi universes, and the other five to be new additions to the roster.
Characters can now cast powerful magic abilities to decimate their enemies, with the chance to combine their weaponry and magic to unleash devastating attacks.
Warriors Orochi 4 will release for Nintendo Switch in Europe and North America in Autumn 2018.
