After a quick snap had seemingly revealed some controversial requirements for LEGO City Undercover on Nintendo Switch, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has immediately moved to reassure consumers that the information is incorrect.

It was a Reddit user that had spotted that the Nintendo Switch packaging states “Internet Required” on the cover, and, flipped over, specifies that “up to 13 GB storage required for game download. Storage requirements may change.”

That led to speculation that Nintendo Switch owners would be required to download the full game in order to play, but this had conflicted with the information listed on the Nintendo eShop, where the required space is specified as 7.1 GB.

“The information is listed incorrectly on the packaging of LEGO City Undercover for Nintendo Switch,” a representative for Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment clarified in a statement to IGN.

“Players who purchase a physical copy of LEGO City Undercover on Nintendo Switch at retail are getting the complete game, and do not need to download additional content to enjoy the full experience. An internet connection is not required to play the game. The only internet connection suggested is to download the typical content update patch.”

LEGO City Undercover will release on Nintendo Switch in North America on April 4th, and across Europe on April 7th
