Focus Home Interactive and Gasket Games have announced that Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Storm Ground is in development for Nintendo Switch.

Revealed on Gamescom: Opening Night Live, the upcoming game will see Sigmar’s Stormcast Eternals battle against the Nighthaunt, Nagash’s seemingly-endless hordes of risen undead.

You must conquer the Mortal Realm in this upcoming skirmish turn-based strategy game, in which you will lead a high-customisable force and your victories will reward you with new types of units, powerful equipment and devastating skills.

Promising “spectacular and fast-paced tactical battles,” you can either fight your way through the non-linear routes in the game’s solo campaign or defeat other players in one-on-one online duels.

Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Storm Ground will release at retail and on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide in 2021.
