Digital Extremes has announced that Warframe is now available on Nintendo Switch, the award-winning free-to-play cooperative online action game.

With Panic Button helping to port it to the portable home console, you can now play as Tenno – warriors of blade and gun that have mastered the Warframe armour.

Those that had survived the old war were left drifting among the ruins, but are needed once more to counter the Grineer, whose vast armies are spreading throughout the solar system.

On Nintendo Switch, you can expect all content up to the Mask of the Revenant update, with the open-world Fortuna expansion to soon see release with complete content parity with other consoles expected in 2019.

With built-in voice chat, there’s no need to use the Nintendo Switch Online app. There are also motion controls and controller support for both Joy-Con and the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller.

And, to help celebrate the game’s launch, those that download Warframe and install the Comms Segment in the Vor’s Prize tutorial quest before December 4th will receive free gifts in their in-game message inbox. These free gifts include:

  • 3 Day Affinity Booster
  • Orokin Catalyst
  • Orokin Reactor
  • Forma
  • 50k Credits (Frugal Credit Bundle)

Warframe is now available on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide.
