Plug In Digital and Hollow Tree Games have announced that Shape of the World will release on Nintendo Switch, which is a first-person exploration game where a rich and colourful world grows around you.
This relaxing and interactive escape will let you freely get lost, with your presence in the forest becoming the driving force behind the procedurally populated environment – leaving you to wander through dream-like forests, aquatic caves and peaceful shores.
With an organic and mysterious ecosystem at play, you will interact with graceful animals, ephemeral flora, and intriguing monoliths to alter the world in unexpected ways.
“I’m thrilled to officially announced that Shape of the World is coming to Nintendo Switch this year,” enthused Hollow Tree Game founder Stu Maxwell. “Nobody on the team expected the game to look so nice on the Switch, we’re really happy with it… We can’t wait to see what everyone else thinks.”
Shape of the World will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide in 2018.
